RECOVER DATA SECURELY

Nowadays a lot goes wrong with sharing and transporting information, for example on USB sticks or hard drives. This often concerns sensitive information, especially for companies. You do not want your (recovered) data to fall into the hands of, for example, malicious parties or competitors. Hence, you cannot just store your data on a secure hard drive. You can also receive the recovered data securely after data recovery.
Many companies need good advice on backup. This does not
always go well because
Companies that purchase a server are often not properly or
not at all informed about the essence of a backup during the purchase. Or the
costs for the initial set-up are already high enough and why also a maintenance
contract to keep the backup and software up-to-date? Service contracts are
often expensive. And if you don't have to use it, especially. But suppose
something does go wrong.
It always starts well
You buy a server for the company and everything is
installed. You can do this as a self-employed person or you have employees who
can work on a server. Entrepreneurs are not concerned with the backup at all.
You assume that everything is well organized with a new server….
But then…
We see that things go well for a while, but it goes wrong
... This can really happen to anyone and any company.
Advice
Make sure you have a good backup and a supplier who takes
care of the backup so that you do not have to worry about this. Ask questions
such as what am I doing right? What's best for me and my business?
Regularly maintain the server. Overdue maintenance
increases the risk of data loss! This implies:
Preventively clean the server or have it cleaned. This
extends the life of the server.
Replace the hard drives in time, as they are subject to
wear. For example, due to a power failure, the hard drives may stop working
after this. If hard drives have been running nonstop 24/7 for several years,
this can happen to anyone. Hard drives need to be replaced in time, our advice
is: replace after 3 to 4 years. But hard drives can simply have a shorter
lifespan. You don't know ... suddenly they can stop and it is never convenient.
Cut back on IT? Better not!
In this time of austerity, companies are not only cutting
back on staff but also on IT expenditure. But cutbacks should not mean that you
continue to work with outdated IT equipment for too long. Sooner or later this
will cost you dearly. For example, do a fallback test or so-called business
continuity test: simulate that the server goes down and restore the backup. How
long have you been off the air as a company and how long will it take before
you are fully up & running again? You will be amazed! You often find out
that certain data was not properly backed up, for example the e-mail or CRM
data or certain accounting data. Imagine the plug goes out and you find out in
time this way. Experience has shown that unexpected errors can be found in this
type of testing, which you better have tackled when there is no need for the
man. If there really is a problem with a crashed server, you know how to act
and in principle you don't have to worry so much about data loss.
Security
above all else
To reduce the risk of recovered, sometimes business-critical, data falling into the wrong hands, companies can opt for encrypted hard drives. These disks are then secured by means of a pin code that is passed on separately by telephone, text message or e-mail.
What
to do after data recovery?
Are you also looking for the safest way to store and
transport your business data? Then choose the best which is data recovery software which
helps you in keeping your data secure and recover it after it’s lost due to any
fault. Data recovery software
is the best software that will help you in recovery of all your data easily and
quickly in all the companies and businesses.
