EXCHANGE RECOVERY USEFULNESS

Through
e-mail services we receive a lot of spam, but also a lot of documents and
messages of vital importance to us. Since emails also take up space, everyone
has had to do a bit of cleaning sooner or later and, for one wrong click, have
also deleted important messages and attachments. It sounds like a drama, but
with a little luck you can recover your deleted emails!
To do this,
you don't need to be a nerd or IT specialist, but simply have the right tools.
So let's see some that can come in handy and will be of great help to recover
deleted emails!
What is a recovery email address?
When we have
forgotten, we cannot find the password or, for some reason, we cannot log in to
our account that has been blocked, it is always useful to have a "backup"
email address available to recover emails and the
service really quick and easy.
Simply associate the e-mail address or account you are registered with to a recovery email address (or alternatively to a telephone number) to receive useful instructions for recovering the account or to reset the password.
How to create a recovery email
address
As we have
seen, therefore, the recovery
email address allows you to receive a message to reset your account
password. A good practice, therefore, is to always have at least two email
addresses open to use in case of need.
Once you
have created a secondary or backup email account, simply associate it with the
primary account. A simpler operation to do than to say: you just need to
configure the recovery email address from the login screen to your email
account or access the mail profile settings and enter the backup email address.
In this way,
recovering the forgotten password of your e-mail account or an account
temporarily blocked for security reasons will be really simple.
How to recover deleted emails in the
trash
Fortunately
for us, all email services require a double step to delete an email. First, you
need to select and delete it. After that the email is simply moved to the
trash. To completely delete it from your email account, you will have to select
it again, click on delete and give the ok to the message “In this way the
message will be permanently deleted”.
In short, to
delete an email, you will have to make not one wrong click, but more than one.
So before you panic because you think you have deleted one or more important
emails, go check the trash. If your e-mails are still there, the problem is
solved. It will be enough click on the email you are interested in recovering,
or select all those you want to restore, and look for the option "Move
to" or "Move to". By choosing Inbox, those messages will be back
in your Inbox, at your complete disposal.
Of course,
it may be that you weren't so lucky, or that your email is set up so that,
after some time, your trash emails are automatically deleted. Don't panic!
You must
know that everything that passes on your PC, in truth is not deleted
immediately , but appears as deleted (and therefore not visible) but is there,
at least until the file is overwritten. If, therefore, you use your email
account from your PC through a specific client (Outlook Express, Mozilla
Thunderbird and the like) then we can try another way to recover deleted
emails.
How to recover deleted emails from
your computer
As
mentioned, the files deleted from the PC no longer appear to our eyes, but in
truth they remain there until they are overwritten by other files. This
principle applies not only to deleted emails, but to all file types. For this,
special programs have been created which, once installed, give you the
possibility to make mails and files reappear that were apparently lost forever.
